Not a lot of people think about how your posture and your jaw go hand in hand. It is not something you would normally think about together. However, your posture and your jaw can have impacts on each other when it comes to not having the best of either.
Learning more about your posture can help you reduce many oral issues you may be having regarding your jaw.
Your Spine and Jaw
When your spin is causing the problem, it can put more stress on your neck and jaw area. This is causing you to slouch more, but also put more weight on one side of your head than another. It is important to sit up straight and tall to reduce the uncomfortable muscle feeling that you may have.
What if Your Jaw is Misaligned? If it is your jaw that is misaligned, then this might have a big part to play on not only your posture, but also your balance and coordination. It can cause muscle strain in your face, but also your back, neck and shoulders.
Properly AlignedWhen everything is properly aligned and you can stand tall and hold your body weight, you're easily able to feel more comfortable, have less strain and not have to worry about oral issues because of it.
