 Accidents happen and when they do, it can leave us reeling in shock. After the trauma of a wreck, most people are more concerned about the physical aspects of the accident, such as damage caused to their necks and bodies. For some, the thought of injuring their mouths is a moot point when it comes to physical assessment. It can be critical to the evaluation, however, to make sure your mouth is inspected thoroughly after an accident. Why You Should See Us After A WreckAn oral surgeon can help determine the extent of damage done to your mouth after an accident. There are two primary types of impact that could be done to your teeth, which are direct and indirect contact. Direct damage means you were hit in the face during the accident.Indirect is something that could force your mouth to jar or close during impact.
